Daniel Bolger founded The Bolger Group consulting firm in 1985 in response to growing needs for professional management of logistics processes. His extensive manufacturing and retail operations experience has enabled him to serve some of the top companies in the country. Prior to starting The Bolger Group, Bolger held senior management positions with the Anchor Hocking Corporation, Avon Products and Continental Office Furniture.
A recognized expert in logistics, warehousing and transportation
Today, with The Bolger Group, Daniel Bolger is a recognized expert in logistics, warehousing and transportation - including operations management, facilities and personnel. Bolger is the author of numerous articles on subjects dealing with retail and wholesale operations and speaks regularly at the National Home Furnishings Association's Resource Center and regional meetings. He has also been called to testify as an expert witness to support private organization litigation and assist the U.S. Department of Justice in freight fraud investigation.
Graduate of Pitt & Wharton
He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Engineering and earned an Industrial Management MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Bolger is a Graduate Engineer and Civic Leader
Bolger is a Graduate Engineer and is Past President of the Council of Logistics Management's Columbus Roundtable; Past Chairman of the National Industrial Transportation (NIT) League's Highway Facilities Committee and past member and trustee of the Ohio Trucking Association. Bolger served as Director of the Fairfield County Emergency Management Agency. His volunteer activitis included serving as a Director of the South Licking Watershed Conservancy District.
